Healthy living is when your physical, mental, and emotional health are in balance or functioning well together. Being healthy is a lifestyle, not a diet. As a health coach, I often consulted my clients on bio-individuality, meaning no one diet works for everyone because we all have unique needs. Eating healthy is key, and for me, that includes whole healthy foods and yes carbs – the good carbs! I also make exercise a top priority in my life by running, strength training, golfing, tennis, and yoga - not only for the physical benefits but the mental benefits as well.

Healthy living can help prevent chronic disease and long-term illness. Nutrition is an important aspect of healthy living. That is why it's essential to educate yourself on foods that help your health, and those that harm your health.
Feeling good about yourself physically and mentally is important for your self-esteem and self-image. When you are eating well, exercising, and getting rest don’t you notice a difference in how you feel?

Once we hit the ripe age of 50, we know our bodies have changed, and let’s face it, holding onto those extra pounds is a little more difficult to get rid of. I have come to understand that innovative and time-tested methods of dieting and exercise are all next to useless without approaching your wellness and lifestyle holistically.
